Are you looking for a BTD OEC Amora gemstone or are you looking for the OEC moissanite with the Amora treatment to them from MoissantieCo?

Well, as long as it's AMora, does it matter? I really want an OEC! What kangaroocrazy said. And there is a difference - Amora enhanced moissanite is probably going to turn out about J color. The Amora gem (which isn't being released until 2015 unless BTD can get the patent on moissanite overturned) will naturally be about F color without any enhancement.

Regarding the OEC or any antique cut planned...I have seen many mentions of the Amora Gem being naturally F, but are there plans to create them in warmer colors later on? Or - will the Amora treatment continue to be available to enhance to ~J color?
(this may be answered elsewhere but I have yet to find it and if so I really apologize for the redundancy!)

(this may be answered elsewhere but I have yet to find it and if so I really apologize for the redundancy!) I don't have a post to reference, but I feel like I read that they will not be offering Amora gem in the warmer colors because they are not in great demand among the general public, thus not cost-effective to produce. They will not be offering the amora enhancement after that, but there are other whitening treatments available, though not as effective.

I think the true Amora Gem will have some color varations; CC made green once on accident and BTD, MoissyCO have both acknowledged that Moissy does vary. It is highly likely that not every crystal they grow will be an icy F color, so maybe they will sell the darker colored rough or cut it themselves. i dunno, i think the BTD labs will be much more strict on colour grading and appearance than C&C have ever dreamed of being.

I e-mailed customer service and told them I wanted to reserve a 7mm oec. I was sent a link where I was able to leave a 10% deposit to hold a stone for me.
