I shall have to find them for you! I know it's a 1.85 carat cushion but that's it. I'll try to see if she gives dimensions and if not, I'll ask her.
You HAVE ONE?!?!?! What am I saying...of course you do! PHOTOS WOMAN!
Yes this was apparently a very rare stone with good horsetail inclusions. I am obsessed with it. This is a Russian Demantoid and I guess the most rare so I doubt I'll ever be able to have one just like it!
Mine are supposed to be Russian also, but I can't prove that without a proper cert. (I have a cert stating it's a natural demantoid, but not the origin - those cost quite a bit of $$$) Mine have the inclusions that are common to the Russian stones, but they are NOT the perfect "swirls" that make the stones more valuable. I have photos on my other computer, so I'll try and get a few posted on the colored stone forum later today. The problem with these stones (because of the luster) is that they are very difficult to get good photos. I did get a couple of cool highly magnified inclusion photos.
