In my constant search for quality products I have found a second quality bench, I think. Their pictures are incredible but I have yet to have them make anything for me.

From the pictures of their work that I have seen, they are at least equal in quality to the work of my "better" benchman.

They do work similar to the pictures I have seen from Mario, lovely work with millgrain, antique looking, modern looking, diamonds every where, in short, a LOT of the kinds of work I have had to pass on before because I did not have a bench that did that kind of work.

Let me comment that I believe they could duplicate the work that I have seen from Mario, but that I will NOT be doing so. I am, in my own view of what is ethical and what is not, granting to Mario my designation of "Most Honored Competitor".

To me that means that if you love his fantastic "Christina" ring, then you should order it from him. I will not make anything that even faintly resembles any of his work, but rather will offer my own styles in that type of work.

Here is what I need from ten to fifteen of you.

I need some volunteers, a "Wink's Cadre of Excellence Team" who are willing to explore with me if the work is as good as their pictures. Send me some pictures of designs of what you are wanting, be they antique, modern, hand engraved, encrusted with a bazillion stones, or otherwise different form the wonderful three stone rings that I have been doing for you, and let me get quotes from this new bench. If you order the ring prior to me leaving for Chile on the 15th of January I will give you a 20% discount from my normally incredible prices. All I ask in return is that you allow me to document the finished piece and post it on this forum with pictures and that so long as the craftsmanship is at least reasonably adequate that you accept the finished piece. If they are poorly done you are released from this obligation and I will not further represent this capability with this new bench. (From the pictures I have seen of their work, I do not expect this to be even a remote possibility!)

P.S. Oh, I forgot to mention that I will also have Moissanite available now. Hand selected for the minimum of greenish body color. These are slightly more expensive than the generic "stuff" that I have seen, but not by much. I suppose I could price it as a loss leader, but that is a poor way to stay in business as far as I am concerned so I won't. Pricing on individual pieces by request, as this is so new to me that I do not yet have a price list available. I ordered in two pieces to see and was VERY impressed with the quality versus the "junk" that I have seen in the past.
