It will qualify, but after looking at the pictures in the ebay thread you just gave me I know that the pricing will be now where near what they wanted for the buy it now price. I am guessing that this was a piece that was "pre owned" as the cost for me to make such an ornate piece will be much more than that.
I am not aware of having this email, but it is entirely possible that it is at the office. I am home right now. If you would like me to send it in for a bid please send me a new email so that I can forward all of the information to my bench.

This is a beautiful ring and either of my benches "could" make it. It is not something that is in the public domain yet so I probably would make something similar rather than an exact copy. I believe that this is a copy writed design, rather than one that has been done many times before so I would be uncomfortable making this exactly. This is such a difficult line to walk so I usually go with what my gut tells me. When I see the same ring being made by many houses, then the ring is in public domain and I am quite comfortable making it.

There are actually a few changes I would like to make to it, so that is no issue at all. Any ideas on price with slightly bigger sapphires and in white goal (18k)? THere are other changes but these seem like the ones that would affect price.

Wink, when we get your quote back, will you include and recommendations that you might do to the ring? We're pretty open about ideas and everytime I see something new I want that too.  We aren't set on it having to be JUST one way and would more than welcome your ideas or suggestions. Thanks Grace

yeah, you should all get one of these crosses made and SHOTGUN on the first one being sold...hopefully I'll be out of financial Hell by then!
