Okay, it's
COLOR REVIEW time! I've been dragging my feet on this, because I originally had a mixed reaction to the color of my moissy. I'll just run through all the colors people ask about...
White: Some people have posted reviews of their moissy OEC and said that it's really white. I personally have never seen mine look white. It is ALWAYS warm and it has never look whiter than my Asha OEC (I color). To me, this is a good thing because I like my modern cuts to be white and my antique cuts to be warm.
Green: The second day I had her, I made the rookie error of wearing a green sweatshirt on a rainy day. My OEC turned
bright apple green and I was horrified. It was like a green skittle had replaced my moissy.

She was solid green from every angle no matter what lighting I put her in and she stayed like that until I hastily changed sweaters. So I have learned that I can't wear green on gloomy days, oops! I watched her like a hawk after that and I have been paranoid to wear green shirts and accessories, which really stinks because green is my favorite color. I haven't had a green moissy incident since that day, though, thank goodness. Let's hope it was a one time occurrence!
Yellow: Oooh, I
loooove the yellow tint! Warm antique cuts always seem more romantic to me.

Depending on where I am, she is usually rocking different shades of lovely light yellow. At my office, she is kinda whiter and flat-looking, but none of my jewelry looks good in that crappy lighting. Outdoors, she is a pale sunny ball of fire! In the shade or any low-light, she is a stunning glimmering stone. Yesterday I went grocery shopping and I almost camped out in the bread aisle because she was sparkling like mad. SO GORGEOUS!
Would I choose Amora? Honestly, if an Amora gem OEC is created then I would strongly consider swapping stones. Not because I want her to be whiter, but as I mentioned above, green is my favorite color and I don't want to be paranoid about wearing it for the rest of my life. Also, my wedding band is rose gold, which I think clashes with the moissy. This kinda bums me out because I love my wedding band but I've been wearing her less ever since I got this ring (I have been wearing my white gold stacker bands instead). This stone would look good in white or yellow metal, IMHO. Anyway, those two reasons would make me consider upgrading to an Amora in the future.
