Let me know when you get here, we could do a meet up! And if you need ANYTHING at all, you just let me know! I can recommend hotels, things to do, and places to eat. smile

We can def do a meet up! I'd love to meet some BTDers in person smile I won't be staying at a hotel so no need for that but thanks for the offer, closer to the time I might ask you for a few restaurant ideas smile

Ohhh, NYC is sooo much fun! BeMyValentine, make sure you do try some NY street food, NY pizza, and NY bagels. laugh For fantasic panoramic views I'd suggest the Rockefeller Center rather than Empire State Building. It provides a better view over the Central Park and you can also see the Empire State Building itself, of course. laugh

MrsElleMonk, I'm glad you or your friends find the link useful. We did check it everyday, it was helpful even in summer. smile

So far vacations are mostly business trips for Mr that I get to tag along (as for what is planned right now). First week of March will be San Antonio and the last week of April will be Fayetteville NC. I want to go someplace fabulous too frown ~Red

MrsGotRocks, we are hoping to see some whales! It's kind of early but they should arrive 1st of May and we're going near the end of May. My dad's been to every state in the US and he said Cape Cod is his favorite place of all. I've traveled the world, but have never been to Cape Cod yet. I can't wait smile

Ah yes, the whale watch from Provincetown. That is always a highlight! The various boat captains are usually very good with finding a whale, and some of our previous captains have stayed out for a bit longer to find their passengers a whale. It pretty awe-inspiring to see one up close.

We love CC, and it is truly beautiful. We love that you can swim in the Bay (great for the young ones with the tidal pools that reveal hermit crabs to play with), swim in fresh water lakes, and of course, the ocean. Be warned though, the ocean can be COLD. We usually go July, and the water still feels brisk with wet suits on!

MrsGotRocks, so are there better whale-watching companies than others? Do you have a favorite? I don't think I'll be going in the water this trip, not to mention Hubby has 'swimming-in-the-ocean-phobia', poor thing, lol. (Count him out as ever being my dive buddy that's for sure frown )
