DH and I love travelling, but can't plan anything for this summer just yet.

Any dream destinations?

Oh, so many dream destinations...like the Turks and Caicos for one. But this summer I will be hugely PG, so we will be RVing short distances only, just in Canada.

I will have to save my island dreams for 5 years later...give or take.

btw, Canadian Rockies is a dream destination for many Europeans. We've visited twice, but would go back anytime!

Travelling with children is not my cup of tea. I want them to be old enough so that I can ditch them with my mom. I actually like just 3 hours away from Banff and Lake Louise. So funny how I consider it a borong vacation, when I know others travel from far away just to spend time there.

We are going to Ireland next week, Iceland next month, OBX this summer, and something else, maybe on the west coast, but we're not sure yet I will bring back a full report with my new camera after Ireland as it has always been a dream destination of mine! DH got really lucky on airfare and I am stoked!

We've been to Iceland last May and it was amazing. I hope you can make it past the Blue Lagoon and Reykjavik where the most exciting part starts. What are you visiting in Ireland and Iceland? How long?

jcent, I know what you mean... we haven't been to European destinations for years with occasional exceptions. Like when you have already seen it all, and it's all easily accessable and you're surrounded by it daily then you're looking for smth else...

We were in Mexico last month, and we're going on our honeymoon to Negril, Jamaica in 2 weeks!! So freaking excited. Adults/couples only all-inclusive. Yes please!

Since you'll be there in wintertime I suggest that you check it daily. Nearly every hotel/motel/guesthouse/farm will have a free wireless Internet access, so please check the road conditions before you head anywhere. The highway 1 (the Circle Road) is often narrow with one-way bridges with unpaved portions in the Eastern Fjords area, so you really need to be careful and stay safe.
