I live in sunny Mexico, and I had an older moissanite ring. It was warm, but I could see the green whenever I used to get inside my car and it was shaded from the sun, but still in natural light... Those of you that live in sunny places might want to test your moissanites this way...

Amora will improve that, but maybe not as much as you think. I have no idea what the enhanced OECs look like in real life, they probably are good, and I really hate to say it, but my Amora looks very green to me in overcast weather and even just in the shade. I had hoped that since the stone was one carat and Amora-ized that that wouldn't happen, but does look green. I still love her, but I do have thoughts of replacing her with an Amora gem and putting her into a pendant in the future. It does make me wonder though because so many people say that they never see green in their Amora. I wonder if the green is really that noticable, or if I'm just overly sensitive to color.

I am getting more nervous about my Amora OECs. I wonder how they do the color grading from Moissy, as it seems to have a lot more personality than a diamond???

Have you seen Hadley's thread that showed all the fabulous comparison pictures? Included are an unenhanced and an enhanced stone...no snotcast with the amora!

uh I wish they could get rid of the green while still keeping the color at K/L/M.! A girl can dream!

I know...I want the buttery warmth without the green. It's a shame because ADORE the color of unenhanced moissanite, but it was a strong green, not light. I might have kept it if it were just slightly green since no one stares at your hand for more than a few seconds.

I'm hoping the amora enhanced OECs will behave differently since the color changed to a warm buttery yellow once they were cut. I've only seen one thread with on amora OEC and although the stone was white in most lighting, it was buttery in low-light. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
