Do you mind sharing the vendor you got the pink sapphire ring? It's so hard to find trusted gemstone vendors these days, I've seen a few nice stoes on eBay but was skeptical about the vendor

I got the pink sapphire and the medium blue sapphire (ovals) from Gary Braun - Finewater gems. He's a precision cutter (my apologies if you already know this) but in these two cases, the native cuts were good enough he didn't recut them, he just got them certed to make sure they were what they were supposed to be. I'm not going to lie, they weren't cheap.... He sourced these himself when he went to Sri Lanka last year.
He's at Tuscon as we speak and said that he hopes that his Sri Lanka "connection" will be there with some sapphires, but I heard there isn't a lot of corundum hanging out these days. I believe the cutters hope to score some native cut stones that are candidates for recuts. If you have something specific you are looking for, let him know and he may be able to source it. I jumped on the pink one the second I saw it because I have been chasing that color in a non-treated stone for a very long time.
I waited a bit on the blue one until I saw him put another stone "on sale" and emailed him and made him an offer... he didn't accept my offer, but he did come down on the price a bit "because I was a good customer" lol. He has a light pink stone on his site right now.
I pretty much stopped buying any sapphires on ebay that weren't certed unheated or didn't come with an AGL or GIA cert.... been burned a few too many times.
