I have that light (I think it is that one, but it only cost me $50) and it works like a charm. 20-30 seconds for base/light colors/top and I did cure the whole minute for my REALLY RED, but it was my first time and I was in disbelief that it would actually work. whistle

I ordered 2 OPI colors from a vendor on amazon for about $17/bottle. I haven't asked my cosmetologist friend what they cost wholesale.

Has anyone tried the really cheap ones off of ebay? like $4-$5 a bottle? I'm going to grab an "off the wall" color just to try it out, but I'd love to know if anyone has any previous experience! (since it ships from Hong Kong and they have holidays etc. then the 2 week ship time... it'll be awhile before I get to play!)

and my light - it is a 45s cure time for the colors. It is a Mini Pro:45 from Sally's with 6 - 1W bulbs. I got it for $50ish two weeks ago.

So far, I have used OPI and Gelish colors. I like the OPI better, but my technique has improved too grin

... where have you wonderful people been all my life! first the sparkles then the nails... *sigh*

I get my OPI Gelcolor from Trans Design. They are in GA - which is just a state away from me - so I get my items really quick, and so far their customer service has been good.

Sparklee, I must be a dunce because I've looked at that site twice and I still can't find the OPI Gelcolor. Can you post a direct link or tell me where to go to find it?
thanks smile

ohhh, I want to do my nails soooooo much again!!! 18 more weeks...

I have been using normal polish, one from Nubar, so lots of the "bad" stuff is removed. But I miss my gel colour.

Quick update on the SensatioNail purchase. It was super easy to use and worked like it said it would. The LED light that was included with the package cured the coats in the time it said. Something neat I noted was that the light would beep at 30seconds so you'd know how long you were under the lamp smile It was accurate - cured base and top coats in 30seconds and color coats in 60seconds.

Anyhow, I've had this polish on for over a week now and it's holding up great. No chipping, flaking or peeling. Just for reference I'm super hard on my hands. I'm in healthcare so that means washing my hands 600x a day! I'm planning to remove this polish next weekend when I get home from this clinical rotation so I'll post on how the removal goes.

For $44 I think it was a super DUPER deal!!

OK, so I'm looking at the OPI gelcolor. Is this correct?

Cures in 4 minutes per set with LED versus 12 minutes for standard UV cure.

12 minutes!?!?!!

My OPI Gelcolor cures in 45 seconds - 1 min under LED. I just stick it under, I don't count. Are you sure you are looking at the stuff in the bottles, not the little pots of Axxium?
