The ONLY thing that is not perfect about the ring is that I really prefer moissanite, but I'm holding out for the Amora gem. This Asha is truly beautiful though. I'm NOT complaining, lol!

My hands are cold, and so the ring is a bit big, but that's okay too. I'm heating up some glue in the glue gun now (thanks to the boards for this trick!) to make a snuggie.

Do you think you could get a picture of the profile, straight on? I'd love a better view of the engraving/cut-outs on the shank!

About a band...

So this is actually my 15 year anniversary upgrade, and it's in every way different from what I have worn in the past. I had a round solitaire, tiffany setting which I wore with a plain 3mm white gold band and then with a pave eternity band.

But then I got tired of wearing two bands, and so that's why I was drawn to the rings with split shanks and lots of finger coverage. I felt that with a substantial ring with so much detail, I would not want another band. And so, the short answer is no, I will not wear it with a band. I worried for a bit that people would think I was just engaged, but then my husband lovingly reminded me that as a 36 year old mother of 4, that was probably not going to be an issue.

I'm going to take more pictures now.

I'm really having trouble taking better pictures than what David took--so sorry! I think his pics show amazing detail though.
