I have never seen a diamond EC without windmills? Do they in fact exist?

Borismom, your pictures do look better than my pictures of my Asha. I still like windmills though! but as you said you do not so its just a personal preference. I always say, who cares what anyone else says or thinks because when it comes down it to the only opinion matters is yours. \ My tastes are sometimes very unpopular and I am ok with that

I have never seen a diamond EC without windmills? Do they in fact exist? When this whole windmill/no windmill discussion started I went to some jewelry stores around town and asked to look at their EC's - all had windmills. I also went to a diamond dealer that I know in a city not far from me and asked him about the windmills. According to him a well cut EC should always exhibit some form of windmill at the corners. How big or how large will depend on the ratio of the stone, 1.5:1 being the ideal. If an EC exists without them, then I think the cut may be off.
