So I just e-mailed Mike and told him about the honest mistake,.and how I would go about exchanging.
Loose stones are returnable for only 14 days,..and it was shipped January 26,....I cannot imagine them not obliging,..as the stone has not been set and is brand new. Just a honest misunderstanding as David never told me I was wrong about the Asha NOT being a 7.5.

It sucks cuz now I need a 7.5 OEC Asha for my pendant. ugggggggggg

But the Amora is not in stock,...and I am too afraid to get non Amora for my halo,.as the outer stones are really white.
And it will definitely cost more for Amora-ing a 8mm.

The wait is icky,..I have waited so long for the stone,.now this....poo poo poo again!!

I'm sooooo sorry, that is awful. I am wondering the same thing Dana is though.....why did he never let you know that the stone you sent was different than what you had been talking about? I don't quite get that!

I really dont,..but my ring is already made,..and so is the pendant.

The crazy thing is,..when I purchased the OEC giovanni off the Bistro,..she also advertised it as a 7.5!!

I'm just seeing this post now Kanga, I'm so sorry this happened to you. I don't understand why David didn't measure the stone you sent to him just to make sure. So if your asha is really a 8mm, then it took more diamonds to make your halo, but he charged for less? Wow, so now you're looking for an amora 8mm OEC? Is there anyone here who is waiting for a 8mm and is worried they may have gone too big? They can swap with you and you can pay the difference so you don't have to wait for the next batch. You could leave your asha in there for now and use the 7.5 in the pendant?
