Although I didn't mind the warmth in the smaller stone, shrinkage set it before I even had it set! So, we opted to purchase a larger stone when it became available. I am glad we did as I did not anticipate the 9.5 mm would be "THE ONE".

I will check when I get home and post pics. What I do remember on the card, the smaller one had the date of August 2011 and the larger one was January 31, 2012. The latter was clearly from a new batch.

The 3ct/8.5mm is dated 8/11/11 and inscribed "Mira Moissanite". The 4ct/9.5mm is dated 1/31/12 and inscribed "Amora Moissanite".

Are you going to pass your stone off as a diamond? one of the reasons I'm more attracted to Amora is that we can afford a larger stone but I've heard posters say not to order bigger than a carat or it won't be believable. I want larger than a carat that's one reason Amora is so attractive to me
