I dunno if there is a thread with this already (tried searching for it), but who ordered what from this last round of Avarra custom cuts (ended Jan 31/12)?

I ordered an emerald Elongated ACC (10x12) and I tried to get some OECs for earrings but they are cutting 6mm cushions instead (as we agreed). I am hoping to bezel the earrings so they look more "round" as I am OCD about earrings...I don't like squares because they turn and look "crooked"...I know, I'm weird!

I am hoping to set the EACC in a gold bezel ring and bezel earrings by One Garnet Girl on Etsy.

So what did you order? And how do you plan to set them and by whom?

So why did you go with cushions instead of oec's?

They said they couldn't do emerald OECs, so I decided to get the cushions (Emerald Cushion Cuts) because they will still have a chunky faucet look, as opposed to a RB look. I hope it turns out!

So nobody else ordered anything? I thought someone ordered an Elongated ACC yellow sapphire, so awesome....!!

I ordered a lemon yellow OMC and a light pink OEC. I am making a three stone ring with moissy OECs on the sides and I might use one of these stones for the center stone, but I also have a lavender-pink color change OEC on order from Wink as well.

11x10 Lemon yellow Krupps!

Yummy! Krupp cut is one of my fav, and so is yellow!

I bought a lemon yellow sapphire 6x6 cushion cut. I plan on using it for her engagement ring.

I'm starting to have second thoughts about the sapphire though. The lemon yellow vs natural yellow sapphire. How do they compare as far as color? From what I see online, the lemon yellow look lighter than the natural ones.
This is going to be her engagement ring, so i want whatever i choose to be the right choice. Thanks for any responses.

I also ordered a lemon yellow sapphire through the custom cut option, but haven't received it yet.
