I know, and I have always been very "Support the USPS" because I know they are going down the tubes. But honestly, the hassle of their tracking issues is a nightmare.

Like I said, I will be using him again although I will wait until his assistant gets back and he isn't as far behind on all his projects.

I only ever use Fedex or UPS... USPS can suck it. I don't know if I posted about this or not but awhile ago I ordered a rose gold belly ring and I didn't like it once it came so I sent it back. USPS lost the package!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't put insurance on it but it was still $350. I filed a complaint and it did eventually show up but literally a month after I sent it. I was so upset over it.

I hear you on the USPS tracking and I am currently waiting for payment on something they crushed (and freely admitted that it was their error) but it is taking way longer than they first estimated and they re-asked for information they were given intially. It's not a lot of money, BUT the item can't be replaced for anything near what I paid for it and subsequently it was insured for, so it's a loss to me and a loss to the person I sent the item... HOWEVER,

Just a couple of weeks ago I had FedEx leave a package on a neighbors porch and the driver swore up and down that he left it on mine...... First off, I don't have a porch, I only have steps and second, I was watching all day waiting for this package, plus my dog goes bongos when someone comes up to the door, so I KNOW he didn't deliver it to my house....

I was afraid that it was going to be my word against the drivers and I was even in communication with the FedEx manager, because of course, the tracking said DELIVERED!..... fortunately, about 6pm, a wonderful neighbor (whom I have never met, but my landlady assured me was very honest) delivered MY package which had been left on HER porch. She is at N (xyz street) and I am at S (xyz street) so apparently this happens often.

I just delivered some of her mail the other day.... The same vendor just sent me another package FEDEX overnight, but this time he made sure it required a signature, so the same thing didn't happen again.

YES!!!! He just emailed me, stones are in his possession, ring will be ready sometime next week. He logged a complaint with the post office, I think they messed up leaving notice somehow. All is resolved, that was a scary few days, wow! I appreciate that he made things right, and quickly. I'm sure the ring will be fab. Thanks all for listening to my whining, and I hope all your projects are amazing!

I'm so glad everything turned out ok!! I figured it might have been a USPS thing... I sent him a stone on Friday (just in a flat rate box!) and he emailed me that it arrived yesterday. Hope things calm down for him soon!

Glad everything is working out. David is really a wonderful guy and I can't say enough good things about him. I like that it was posted how he made things right. That from my experience is his thing. Making things right for the customer.

BTW I am anticipating lots of pics of the finished projects ladies.

I'll follow up with pics when I get the ring, and then my husband is kidnapping it until baby makes her debut.
