Hello Ladies,

I finally picked.

I told Sweetheart I wanted the 1.5 carat. He let me know a few days after he ordered that he had finally purchased the ring and that they were out of 1.5 carat enhancements when he was buying it, so he upgraded me to 2.0! It's going so be huge! I am a little worried about it looking to big, but I do have a size 8 finger to help balance it out and we're not trying to pass it off as a diamond. As hippy as it sounds, I didn't want a blood diamond. In general diamonds are not practical, and simply not me. Well, Sweetheart happened to leave his e-mail up on my computer and there it was, the tempting e-mail from moissaniteco with a tracking number and estimated delivery date. It's on its way!!!! I don't know how I'm going to keep sane until it gets here. Which should be Tuesday, but then I have to wait for him to give it to me.

Funny story time:
I have been engaged for 2.5 years. We are waiting until we graduate from college next year to get married for several reasons, mainly money and scholarships. He proposed with my mother's wedding ring with my dad that together we had redone. It was a summer night and he took me outside with his computer. He started playing some music and before I know it he was singing "Marry Me" to me and ended by getting down on one knee. It was very much us. We are both low profile, and are both singers. Now that it is nearing wedding time it was important to him to put a ring on my finger that we were both proud of. So even though he has proposed, he still wants this ring to have a "type" of proposal. I really hope he doesn't make me wait too long for it!

Anyway, just had to share that I'm going crazy waiting. When I get it I will have to take tons of pictures and video's for you guys!

Upgraded! That's awesome its going to be great and I'm sure that you'll get used to the size really fast. I always hear about that "shrinkage" people talk about so this will eliminate that problem for you!

What does Petite Halo mean? Does it mean that it's very small--as in does not take up too much room and there is more emphasis on the stone?

@Eleanore I think Petite Halo is in reference to the band width meaning the bands are not that wide I think lol

Yes, Petite halo means that the band is smaller. It's less chunky looking in my opinion. I needed the daintiest I could get with my already chunky fingers. I've just painted my nails tonight, so my hands are ready for it. I hope we are here when it comes on Tuesday. We both will be out of the house from 1-5pm in class. He said I'm not allowed to look at it until he gives it to me, but he also said he will be nice and not make me wait too long. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed and trying not to go insane. I should have pictures up within a week!

She's HERE! It came while he was gone so he agreed to let me try it on and make sure it fits, then I had to put it in his closet until he gives it to me. Of course I took TONS of photos and some videos for you lovely ladies, and to help tide me over until I get it back. I'll post some tonight. She is beautiful, and HUGE!
