They said they were VS, but I see carbon when I transferred them from the container to a white piece of paper. Hmmm, don't know what to think.
I'm not a diamond expert by any means, but those in no way look like VS diamonds to me..... if you paid VS prices, I think you over paid... if you paid "I" prices, then maybe you did ok.
I had a large diamond (in a different life) that has a white feather that could only be seen from the bottom, but it was there. It was rated SI2 by a non-GIA lab, but when I consigned the diamond for sale, they had a GIA guy cert it and he wouldn't give it an SI2 rating because the feather was eye visible, even though you couldn't see it when the diamond was set (I knew it had the feather when we bought it and it saved us thousands......anyway)..... what I am saying is that from what I have been told, if you can see black carbon spots with the naked eye, those are "I" diamonds, not VS, but I could be wrong.
