I wish I had paid with a credit card instead if PayPal. They can empty their paypal account and I won't get my money back.

I'm 99% sure that if you win, paypal puts their account in the negative if they have emptied it.

Yeah, Paypal would reimburse your money as soon as she gets more money in her account, plus posting it and filing it everywhere will do her more harm than good... Where did you buy them? If it was through ebay or some site with a feedback system, leave a neg as well!

PayPal actually holds the funds the moment you file a claim and of course awards them to you if you win regardless of whether there is money in her account or not. Her account balance goes negative. If she sells something, the money is allocated toward the negative balance by default.

Thanks. I did file for a resolution, and if that doesn't do it then by Monday I will escalate it to a claim.

I've debated keeping these as they really are pretty, but they won't match the new ones coming, so not sure what to do if she doesn't take the return. Sell or keep? If you want rose cuts to bezel they will work. I also though of making earrings for babies out of them and selling them at cost. How cute would that be!

make sure you actually call PayPal! They just don't get things like this via email and they might rule against you.

It's not thru email, it's thru your transactions on paypal that you file the claim. But yes, I will call as well, thanks.

I meant the claim based on the transaction is sent to PayPal via email and reps don't get it sometimes.

I had a nightmare situation trying to communicate I was scammed through email. I called and was able to get it resolved in a 5 minute conversation!
