That's the million dollar question! Modern or antique?

Aqua is not that delicate of a stone...on the mohs hardness scale it is 7.5-8, which is fine for daily wear. Plus, the mountings I found are bezel set, which the stone is protected even more. Even a sapphire will scratch/chip if not taken care of properly.

I like Poppy's ring with slimmed down prongs and a BTD sapphire. I have a BTD sapphire and I love it more than any other sapphire I have seen in real life.

And IMO, silver is great for fun pieces, for something you want to last a life time, I think you should go with at least 14k gold.
