Thanks for the feedback- I didn't know Mira has been around that long- has anyone who has one for Ering ever had someone look at it and compare it to their diamond Ering?
Are there noticeable differences set on a white gold solitaire setting? Does anyone have pictures of similar solitaire 2 or 2.5 carat Round rings they want to show off?

http://vimeo.com/24371182that is the link to the video. It is not my video, someone showed it to me on the weddingbee website. I would see how she feels about a diamond alternative. When I very first heard about moissanite, I wanted nothing to do with it but the more I read and actually learned about it, it was the best option. I wasn't sure how my bf would react since he is more traditional but after showing im pictures and videos and information, we decided it was the ebst choice for us. We could definately afford a diamond but didnt want to spend that much money for the little you get. He actually wants to tell everyone about it being a moissanite because he hates the diamond industry and what society tells us that we have to have a diamond. I would say, only go with a moissanite if you and your future bride are both comfortable having one. Some people just cant get over that "it's not a diamond" and that's okay, but it wouldnt be a good fit. I would definately order a loose stone in the size youre looking at and just see it in person. You can always send it back if you don't like it. That way you can be sure before you put it into a ring. Did the board reveal which ring was diamond? I was thinking the one on the right is diamond.

I am guessing it's the one on the right too, because the flashes of white light coming from it. The one on the left looks like it has the rainbow sparkle of moissanite. Off to weddingbee to look for the post with the video to see which is which.

Thanks Soon thats a great video, looks like the left has more brilliance which would lead me to the right being the diamond- either way I thought they were both really nice-
Maybe ill try ordering the loose diamond if I can return it and then decide setting and such- still not sure about cushion or round- i might go to weddingbee too and try to look for some pictures... Im blushing, Im sure Im not the only guy to look at wedding bee, but doesnt feel like the most masculine thing I could be doing =)

lol, I would order both a round and a cushion, and then send them both back; one to be set, one to be returned.

They said they weren't positive which was which but everyone pretty much agreed that the one on the left is the moissanite. so, you're right! I think they both look gorgeous though and really, normal people wouldnt be able to tell.
goodluck!
when you search weddingbee, or even on here I really love Deathbydesign's engagment ring. she has a moissanite. it's a 1.5 and its gorgeous( round stone ) and ofcourse there are many more gorgeous ones

Congrats Northstar please share some pics- I havent seen many Amora RB on settings yet so it would be nice to compare-
I always liked white gold so maybe that or palladium with a RB 8mm?
