My cousin Renee has the same ring that you posted, but with emeralds in hers. If you were talking about a 20 year anniversary, I would swear you were talking about Renee. This is the ring that she picked for herself: http://www.moissaniteco.com/65mm4mm-round-brilliant-moissanite-3stone-ring-15ct-p-11730.htmlBut she stuck with the emeralds on either side of the main diamond/moissanite to stay with the theme of the original ring that she loves. She sometimes wears it as her wedding ring/e-ring, sometimes she wears it as a right hand ring.

Well, another day now and I haven't heard from the boy yet. He's mulling it all over and may well stay in that mode for a good week or so now. We have a couple more weeks before an order deadline, so I'm encouraging him to unwind and just look at his beautiful wife in the context of her own style for the coming days (you know how men don't do this?), and think about what would best suit her.
As for me, I'm making a conscious effort to let go of worrying that we won't make the perfect choice. There are these things called returns and exchanges, and they are beautiful safety nets. It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings the security tag is cut!
At the start of this, my first thought was to have a custom setting made with marquise cut rubies as side stones to make it like her original ring. Awesome! But that turned out to be a scary can of worms. Custom work and purchasing rubies bumps the price up where every $50 matters, it's not exchangeable if she doesn't love it, etc. So it's a moot point, but since we're all playing the game here of having fun with creative ideas, here's one of the settings I initially found for this idea. Sigh, it would've been awfully cool.

What is the budget and what size centre stone does she want?

kanga, I was waiting for you to jump in on this thread! I was thinking of you because I think a setting like this might be doable within our budget if we went through David Klass, and you are his #1 guru on these boards. If that man doesn't offer you a job, he's crazy. But I digress. Anyway, I'm still today thinking about asking him for a quote to make this setting with four rubies. Maybe we'd wind up pleasantly surprised by the cost? But I've been reading the thread about how he's been sick and his assistant is gone for a few weeks, and how he's way behind and not communicating with folks. We only have five weeks left to this couple's anniversary, which means the ring would have to be in hand in four weeks so that no one chews the ends of their fingers off with anxiety. Sounds scary. I can't find this setting on the web sites of any of the big casting houses like Stuller, Unique, or Adwar (Adwar's site is murder to use, by the way). This particular photo was pulled from MDC Diamonds, who I know nothing about.

Valentine -- The red line of the budget is $1,000 total after all is said and done. The center stone will be a 6.5 Moissanite. Optimally we'd like to Amora enhance it, but that may not be doable with the budget constraints. Rock = hard place.
