I prefer the ACC just because I find the chunky facets charming. And being a "vintage" stone, more unique. 6mm will be totally believable.

For example, a 6mm round is about .75 ct. So visually you're getting the look of around a .75 +/- round. So you might even want to consider going with the 6.5mm ACC. I know you're worried about carat weight but I'd be more concerned with size. You can tell anyone whatever carat weight you want. So while BTD might say a 6.5mm ACC is 1.5 ct, you could tell people it's 1.23 carat and unless they know about diamonds and that cushion cuts carry weight in the depth of the stone so weigh more than it looks like visually, they'd never question it.

Beautiful stones, but after about 4 of your photobucket pictures, I was able to pick out which one was which. Out of the three, my favorites are the Antique Cushion and the Asha Cushion. I could see a lot of buttery yellow in the Amora Cushion. Nice photos. You really showed the stones very well. Are you a professional photographer by chance? You really got the stones well without the blurriness and I could see sparkles and faceting. No offense to other women who post their pictures--PLEASE!! smile

haha, NO, I am not a professional photographer by any stretch of the imagination but thank you...these are pics with my iphone. I do have a camera, but honestly the new iphone takes much better pictures, plus it's way easier to upload them to photobucket. Thanks again for the compliment, but as I said in my other post comparing the amora and the asha, I really could not get on camera what I was seeing with my eyes. The amora is definitely way more buttery in person, very pretty facets too. Everyone loves something different for different reasons and I think that's really cool.
