I love that you helped educate him enough to be able to know what he actually liked, and thought she would like. A true friend for sure! And the ring is going to be lovely!

I have progress to update everyone on. I shouldn't be using the word "update" on a Friday, though........

We are in the final stretch. Just one more week to delivery. I am going to get this ring in my hands and pass it off to The Boy before their anniversary if it kills me. And it might!

This has been a super stressful project... trying to educate The Boy and read his mind about his likes and find reference photos that matched his mind's eye... trying to get a hold of stones in the size we need when they are out of stock... trying to get it all done on a tight budget and in a short amount of time... having to lie to my dear friend who I never even little-white-lie to... all while learning as a first-timer how the custom process works and keeping the faith that the real thing will look like the imaginary one in our minds.

I am EVER so grateful to Poppyseed for her patience with me through all of this. She has earned her paycheck, for sure!

For those who are like me and have never seen the custom work process, I'm hoping that the attached photos will be helpful to you. Amcor has completed the setting mold and created a wax version out of it. These photos are the approval point for creating the actual finished piece in gold using the same mold.

We integrated a triple-band shank with a trellis three-stone prong setting, all within a tight budget that didn't allow for a lot of gold weight. Amcor rose to the challenge.

Hadley, you're awesome for putting so much time and effort into this project for your friend. The mold looks great, I am sure she'll really love this ring when she gets it!
