I just talked with my friend that is a jeweler. I'll be going over to he and his wife's house tonight. The deal is that I will make them dinner and he'll take out my current OEC and simply place the Amora in my setting so that I can at least get a feel for her in my setting which is most important.

That will help me to decide what I like best in the setting.

Are you sure they were staring "huh?" and not "wow!" If yopu feel nervous about it, then you may perceieve others looks as bad, when they are not. But, if you are nervous and can`t wear it confidently, then you need to make it so that you feel 100% good about it.

An OEC diamond upgrade in your future may be the thing that you really want in your heart of hearts... but in the meantime, we just need you to love it!

But yes, Beth will always make sure you are taken care of, regardless, so don`t let the coating scare you. Like I said to you before, I love my peachy pinks, and regardless of anything, I will wear them and be proud of them, because to me, theya re stunning! You need to feel that about your ring too.

I hope I didn't give the impression that I don't trust the vendor to back up their guarantee. I only meant that for myself, being an extremely low maintenance kind of gal, I would not want to bother with a coating even with a guarantee. That is the same reason I chose X1 white gold that doesn't require rhodium plating.

Tough call- if you are trying to pass it off as a diamond- the Amora is closer to an actual OEC diamond. However, I love all the sparks that come off the Serenity One. The Serenity one is truly amazing- never seen a moissy have so much flash with broad rainbows. I really love it. If you decide to sell it- shotgun.

I like the current one much better. The amora is too perfect for my tastes.

My real diamond sparkles and has a rainbow of colors, maybe not as much as the big old chunky moissy but it does throw color.

Great idea! Even after you posted the second set of pics and vids, I couldn't decide between the two. Both are appealing for different reasons.

The amora isn't going dark like moissys do and it looks more like a diamond that I've seen from these forums.
