So he openned up the inner bezel to drop it down more, but I don't think he pryed it open, I'm pretty sure he drilled and filed the inner bezel to make more room to drop down the stone. It wouldn't be hard to do and I don't think it will pose a risk to the ring. I have nothing to file though,..mine is not a bezel,..my outer diamonds are "right there." That being said in the last couple of years BTD has used a couple of different cutters because their man cutter became way backed up. Therefore I wouldn't be surprised if there was some variation in the OEC cuts. I just never noticed it before.
