I agree with jcent, turks and flash. although 1000 is a lot of money, if its going to cost those figures to modify it, go for an SK, and get what your heart desires, and it will be completely yours.

SK....I bet he's selective about girls...gotta make sure they're into him and not his jewels. Haha.... Oh, I would be all over him! No jewelry needed... Of course, sparklies are always a nice bonus...

What is the name of this Adonis with the "come hither" eyes? He could turn me into a peeping Thomasina.
As magnificent as he undoubtedly is; I have to be honest and say that I would take that tray of sparklies and run.

I like that SK one too, although the asschers give a very different look than the frenchies.

HAHA you guys are so crazy going gaga over SK's pic!
Well--looks like the diamond deal is no more for me... bummer there...but it's for the best.
Thank you EVERYONE for all of your input, suggestions, and support during this rollercoaster of a day!
I had given up on the ring, but, now that the diamond deal is no more, I've decided I'm going to try to make the ring work. Again it's for the best, no hard feelings about the diamond.
SK is so awesome, I'm so happy he is willing to do the project, he has a customer for life in me!
But, after staring at several pics of the ring tonight, I've decided I'm not going to alter it other than size it. Just put a cushion in it.
But now I'm getting conflicting information on the ring's size. GOG told me it was a size 5, and I thought that sounded about right because I thought she was a 4.75 when she had it made, then I read on PS it was a 6. If it's a size 5, like SK said he can take it down to a 4.5 with a sizing bar. That wasn't going to work out, so I was going to ask him to push it to atleast a 4 3/8 with sizing beads, whatever is possible though I'll deal with it. But a 6 I don't think can work out.
I have an e-mail in to GOG and waiting for the response. If it's a size 5 I'm getting it, if not, I'm going to have to let this fishy go.
