Oh my word, KJMM! I know JUST how you feel! I have a veryyy hard time not being vindictive and malicious to people who cross me. I try my damnedest to forgive, but for the life of me I won't forget, and I have a pretty good way of making people regret the day they pissed me off..

I hope he lives to regret this one! On a legal note, it is not possible to sue somebody for posting the truth, or actual quotes. It becomes slander and libel when lies are spread about a company and it can be proven. Also, it is not illegal for a jeweler to change, or even replicate, another jeweler's setting that has not been copyrighted. People consider this to often to be "professional courtesy," but in this case, if I wanted the LM ring I would get it and have someone like SK modify it to my liking just to SPITE that jack wit LM... lol

oh im sure there are droves of women who will not work with him because of a review or personal conversation with him..i havent had an experience personally but they arent very hard to find

You know now that I've calmed down it did cross my mind to buy the ring anyway and have SK modify it! Because, well I do love the ring. I just don't like him! And if he's disonwing it anyway, then fine, I don't ahve to say it's an LM.

The price of the ring right now is the price for the materials alone... so you know what, I DON'T care if he won't work on it.... I can find someone else! Shoot wink can probably do a better job than him anyway on a resetting job AND he'd happily take the business!

I am familiar with that thread, and his halo SUCKS compared to to VC and SK.

I also bought Frankie's SK ring. But the issues that she noted were fixed when I put a smaller stone in it than hers and when SK refurbed it he made everything perfect. Wearing it right now and I love it! I also didn't see any casted parts, and I had it for a few days without a stone and studied it closely.

Poor GOG, and according to ErikaM it sounds like it's not the first time LM has done this to them!!!

And, his 'tude IS bad for business. With his behavior he is practically HANDING the business to VC and SK.

Currently the ring is still on hold for me at GOG.

I just spoke with them and they are sooooo nice. I need a day to get my head straight about this. I should have known better than calling LM and should have only worked with GOG.
