Have you tried looking for a replacement set? I just took a quick browse through eBay, and there are tons of 4mm each yellow gold settings, I even saw a six prong pair. Let us know if we should go on the hunt to find you the perfect new replacements because you so deserve them!

This is style ear156, right? I was thinking of getting this for my sister's bday but now I'm not so sure.
I think the post is bendy because it is screw back. There is less metal there because of the grooves. Other jewelers make up for this by making the post thicker to begin with. I wish MoissCo would look into sturdier screw back posts while keeping the price affordable.

My first earring purchase from MoissCo didn't live up to my expectations either. Beautiful stone but too delicate / borderline flimsy post and prongs. I exchanged it for a solstice setting which feels sturdier. I'm happier with this set, but I must admit I take it off at night because I don't trust the screwback post to hold up.

I did return these earrings right away and I'm still trying to get through the refund process. Here's hoping that chapter of the story will be closed tomorrow. It's been a rough ride and to be honest, I'm afraid to give an explanation of that because there is a history here of Moissanite Co complaints erupting into an argument and the thread getting locked.

I do NOT want to create any tension or drama. I just want the whole world to be so nice that everybody poops rainbows all the time.

You know what the most beautiful pair of earrings in the world is? My $15 26-year-old CZs. They've been really good to me, to say the least, and they are completely hassle-free. And when I looked at them next to the new moissy set, I realized that they still look pretty dang good for a couple of old ladies.

But I reserve the right to change my mind and go crazy tomorrow and buy some earrings if I want to. A girl has to keep her options open, ya know.

I just heard about this, Hadley and I ran to the thread. I'm so sorry this happened to you--especially as we enabled you and you had a lot of angst over spending the money. I hope you get your money refunded soon. What a bummer.
These days, I would buy only from BTD because I've had a great experience with them. I was going to buy a ring from Moissaniteco--but, I'm too scared of them when it comes to the final push. One option for the future is to buy 2 stones from BTD and have a local jeweler make the earrings for you. You would be surprised at how inexpensive local jewelers can be. The times are bad and many of them welcome good customer. Best of luck to you, dear. You're a wonderful lady and didn't deserve such treatment.
