I love nice big marquise diamonds like that! I got engaged with a marquise (albeit a teeny tiny one) so I think I will always have a sweet spot for them. Your set is beautiful

If this one was any fatter it would look like a football. Doing it just a quarter-mm larger than the perfect proportion gave it enough width to not have that skinny marquise look that I don't like. Plus, it was the largest marquise head on Stuller that I could find!  When choosing a fancy shape like the marquise or pear, it's wise to find a head first, and then order the stone so you don't have to do a custom head.
