Ok, so I think I may have a problem. I recently bought an Amora, then decided to buy a ruby and pink sapphire from BTD. I sent the pink sapphire off to Moissaniteco to set, while I had the ruby set in one of BTD's settings. I have a loose alexandrite I bought from Casey on the bistro and plan on having that set in an Amcor setting soon too.

Anyhoo...I got the ruby ring today. It's a 9x7 (2.8 ct). I am amazed by the color. It is beautiful. Here are some pics in different lighting.

Gorgeous!!!!!! It is really really stunning! I have a BTD ruby in an asscher cut, and the step cuts show the colour soooooo well. Congrats on that amazing ring, and I can't wait to see your others when they get finished

Haha! I knew I could come here and share, because you all would understand. My fiance has been pretty good about it. He only asked me once "So what, are you gonna collect all kinds of gemstones now?" and smiled. He may change his mind later though!

Aw, that's cute. What a nice FI. My hubby asked me that when I first started collecting. I bought him some diamond grit drill bits he was lusting after & told him we were both collecting precious stones
