annnddd if your dream ring is within reach that is what you should get!! if you don't you will always yearn for it and never be completely satisfied

I don't like how high that sits either, and I like high settings. But that looks odd to me, it is just too high, and I can't see much of the stone showing through the bottom, so it looks like the stone is too small?? With an open gallery like that, I like to see more of the bottom of the stone.

That the gallery/basket is empty is not appealing to me. It looks like the stone is too small or the setting is missing details underneath. You could fit another stone just in the empty space!! Sorry, just giving the opinion you were asking for.

Send it back and have him make your dream ring.

I am not sure if you girls know this,..but alot of them on his Ebay site are not made my his hands...they are purchased and then sold by him.

You will be much happier with him making your dream ring!!

I echo the ladies above...this ring obviously does not take your breath away like mackdaddy does! I'm glad you ordered it so that you would have that question resolved in your mind and thank goodness David is so great with returns so you're not out a few hundred $$. Send it back, work out the details of the dream ring and ask him to get started on it!!

Same. I fell like the head would come flying off with one good hit. Very pretty and delicate though.

Yeah, I woke up this morning totally resolved about sending it back. I'm g;ad he is so accommodating and I that I got to see it in person...nut it just isn't for me. On a side note, I love that it sits up so high, don't know why but I do lol.


Frenchie of course I don't mind, and I'm hoping to get opinions on that ring. I might start a new thread. I absolutely love that ring but I also know for sure that I want an antique cut stone. I am not sure if that would look good in that ring.
