I am trying to get some reviews of different places (probably online) to buy Moissanite rings? I actually was going to go with Moissaniteco.com but read they have bad service (F on the better business bureau) so im not sure where to go???

Don't know where you were looking, but MoissaniteCo. (Firecut diamonds) has an A- rating with the BBB. But I would not put any value in that, as the BBB is a farce!

I have purchased all my moissanite from Moissaniteco. and have never had bad service, in fact, quite the contrary!

I know there are some on here that have not been happy with their purchases and service, but I have yet to find a business that never receives complaints. Life is such that you can't please all the people, all the time!

MoissaniteCo. would still be my recommendation, but there is also Schubach's. You can contact jcent on this forum as she is a representative for their company.

We have Moissanite as well, loose and in rings.

I have had excellent service and experiences from Moissanite Co. They have always been great for me and I have bought a few things and hassled them far more with questions. Lots of people here have purchased from them.

I searched the BBB and they don't come up with an F???? They are an accredited BBB business and have an A-. The factors that lowered their rating are the time they have been operating. Things that raised their rating were low complaint volume (5 in 3 years), response and resolution to any complaints?

I have not purchased anything from Schubach's yet but they have always been excellent at answering my questions!

You could also, of course, buy right from Better Than Diamond. I have not bought moissanite from them, but have bought synthetic sapphires, without issue. And lots of people have bought right from them around here.

I was very happy with Moissaniteco the times i have ordered from them. I found their customer service excellent. I too couldn't find a BBB bad rating on them. There is one wacky website out there with this guy bashing them-but if you read it, you realize he just didn't do his homework and had noone to blame but himself.

idk someone actually told me about their rating perhaps its wrong?
i was wondering tho, i looked on Charles & Covards website on their authorized dealer list and moissaniteco.com is not one...does this matter? so is this the best place to buy them? are there any other worthy sources to purchase from?

I can get moissanite from my local jeweler and he isn't on the authorized dealer list either. I'm not sure why C&C keeps that list because the majority of those listed in my area do not even sell moissanite anymore. It is not a comprehensive or accurate list of sources.

The owners of moissco are members on this forum and most of us would not hesitate to order from them. Myself included. Same for the other vendors here, I would order from any one of them.

You can find moissy on e-bay and probably locally if you look around and I'm sure you can find reputable dealers among them, but you have many, many (hundreds?) of members here who recommend these board vendors. I'm not sure what else you are looking for.

morning glory- thanks for that. youve all been really helpful. im just new to all this and wasnt sure which vendors are good/reputable esp after seeing that list of "authorized dealers" i feel better and will prolly go with moisyco since they have the ring i really want!
