I'm not sure if I was just unlucky or if there is a chance to get a whiter one. I might contact the company. Anyway when I take it outside in the yard it looks very beautiful and looks white enough unless you try to see so closely or focus on the color.

No I wasnt looking for anything from LizC or Wink. But I had once thought about getting asha from BTD. I just didnt think I would be comfortable wearing cz as "a diamond" and wanted to get something last forever.

Honestly I thought about Asha before getting Amora. I just wanted something last forever. But now I dont know I might wanna try Asha. This amora is great and beautiful as a moissy but I need something more like diamond-look.

But my concern is, I cant "baby" it. I wash dishes, I play outside with my kid, I'm not gonna take off the ring once I wear it. So I need the stone to be as tough as diamond. Someone said "even one finger print can ruin" and I cant keep cleaning so constantly every time it gets something on the surface.

But again, I might try it to see how it looks.

I am using my Asha OEC until the OEC comes out also,..and I live on a FARM!!

Have you seen the computer design of the Amora Gem Princess (non-moissy) that Less posted in the Amora Blog? I think you could easily use an Asha as a place holder till they are available.

I wish I could wait till the amora gem comes out!! But I want something right now... Asha is less expensive compared to amora moissy but still not reasonable as a "CZ". Dont you think? I would buy 2ct, so it would be about $300, plus a ring setting ($840).

I had an Asha EC for a couple of years before I got my diamond. No one questioned it, even when my diamond showed up in a different but similar setting! and I think there has been some talk that an Asha princess would definitely be more realistic then the Asha step cuts are. I think it would definitly be worth it to have the ring made and be able to enjoy it now and then swap it out for an Amora Gem when they become available.

Then a Wink stone would be perfect if you want to swap.
But a Asha will stay clean longer!!

Cut - this is what would bother me about this Amora. I know you're asking about color, and it is on the warmer side (but in a good way), but the overdarkness in this "X" cut is what is throwing me off.

For $1000, I would have to love it at first sight.


ETA - an Asha PC or a Wink PC warmed to your liking might be a good swap.
