Sim, I know how that feels. Since moving here, we have no family support, so I am nervous about having baby number 2. I can only imagine the shock of finding out that there are 2 in there.

its hard to be at work and even worse having to take the bus and then a train in the morning to get here. how do women do this??! I can't hardly concentrate enough to read my work. Lukily i'm at a computer all day so I can sit at least, but I want to go lay next to the toilet...

Twins!!!!! Congrats Sim.... just hang in there and take extra care so special to have two....

With 2 you could feel it even worse than the average mama... Try protein before bed, and some food in yout tummy before you even get up. SO have DH make you toast or something, or have crackers beside the bed. Have lots of small snack throughout the day, and stay hydrated. I used to through up on the way to work all the time, luckily, I was not taking transit. But it was unpleasant, to say the least. You can also take gravol, but it will make you sleepy. Your DR can prescribe something else too....but they all make you sleepy, and in my experience work minimally. I went on sick leave with my DD around 10 weeks, and then just never went back.

Is it worse in the morning? Maybe you can talk to your boss about comeing in later and staying a bit later...at least so your not on as crowded of a bus/train. Or working from home a bit? I found it was easier to be honest with work about it, and they tried to accomodate me.

Hey ladies! jsut wanted to give an update. After nearly a month of ultrasounds and scary visits to the "maternal fetal specialist" we have resolution. One baby that is seemingly happy and healthy by the amount of bounding around it is doing already at 9.2 weeks. we had a bit of a scare for a while and i was under close watch as the second embryo had implanted too close to the tube in what is called a "corneal pregnancy". it can be fatal if it ruptures so they kept an eye on it. Apparently this if very rare and even more rare to have one implant normally and the other not. go me! (perhaps i should have bought a lottery ticket)
anyway I'm happy that we didnt have to make any heart wrenching decisions about it as it didn't really develop and the doctor says it will just be reabsorbed by my body b/ its so small still. its literally 1/3 the size of the healthy one. I do't know why i'm sharing all this,, anyway the point is i can finally relax and enjoy being pregnant,, if is wasnt for this pesky morning sickness...
