I remember crying with happiness when I first saw mine like that! I didn't get emotional at the little peanut blob, but when I saw a formed baby, I lost it. I bawled my eyes out when I first heard my sons heartbeat. It made it all very real for me and the realization that I was going to be a mommy just made me so happy......

I'm so nervous as tomorrow is my due date  I'm waiting on a call from the Dr office to schedule me for an induction, hopefully they can fit me in on Wed, as they don't want me to get too far overdue because I have gestational diabetes. Hubby already got me my present (a pandora baby carriage charm) which helps but I'm still just so nervous about everything as its my first baby! It really hits home in the last few days that soon I'm not going to be pregnant but be a Mom!

Ultrasound was disappointing. The baby wouldnt budge! We did get to see between the legs, and didnt see anything (girl?!) but the u/s tech wouldnt even humor us with a guess.

I don't know. I think we found out at 18 or 20 wks with my son, so probably then. The kicker of the whole day, the baby was measuring too long to do the test I was there for. At 11 wks they couldnt see enough, now 14 wks babys too tall. Exhausting lol!

Sorry pink! But don't worry, at least it wasn't your 20 week. I don't know about there, but here, is there is nothing wrong, you don't get any more ultrasounds after 20 weeks, so if baby doesn't co-operate you don;t get another chance to find out. My tech was really sweet to spend all that time with me, over an hour, just so we could know. But I was getting the idea I just wan't going to be able to know. Unless I booked my own and paid for it myself...
