Wow. I'm going to be truthful. The stone looks very yellow. I know people say that it might be because you have it compared to another whiter cz, but I covered the cz and looked at the Amora and it is yellow. When I see the stone next to your real diamond, and after carefully looking at the comparisons between your real diamond and the Amora, they look very, very similar in color. If I was in your shoes, and I'm indecisive to say the least, I think I would return it, but then, that's just me. Maybe exchange it for another one, and see if that makes a difference. I've heard that some Amora stones are more 'character filled' (yellow) than others, so maybe you just got a really 'character filled' one. Okay, that's what I would do, I would exchange it for another one, and if that one still doesn't look as good, either, than return it for good.

Thanks for all the comments. I really appreciate it. Please forgive me I dont have much time today to reply each of you.
I've been having a difficult time deciding if I should keep it or not. Thinking about this all day long makes me so tired. You know,,, I was just VERY excited to have it, I kind of made my mind before even getting it and I totally believed that amora moissy would be the one. But like some of you said "you should love it at first sight", "Trusting it to grow on you is likely not the way to go", I might return it. Well, before giving it up let me talk about the color and cut.
It is warmer than I was expecting, but it's a loose stone, and it will be different when it's set, I understand that. I was worried more about "rainbow color" or "disco ball crazy look". But I dont think I see too many colors which some people think "it's fake" . Mostly it looks white enough, or light lemon color/buttery tone. I hardly see green tone. About cut, I knew it would look different. But this "flower shade" is something I didnt know. I dont think any pictures of square brilliant cut show this, and even video doesnt show this either. Some of you might think it happens only at particular angle, but it's very noticeable to me, it catches my eyes a lot. It's a BIG difference compared to diamond's princess cut, especially it's 2ct, big enough to see it, and I'm afraid it could be the first/main reason for people to doubt it is a diamond. But since it's very unique I kind of like it:) Maybe I should try to take a photo of it when the room is dark, the flower looks WHITE while the stone looks dark. (It's opposite look!) It's very unique and interesting. It's like a white flower is floating in the dark.
Since I'm looking for a diamond look and many of you recommended, I think I will try asha princess. I thought about cushion amora as some of you also recommended, but I'd like to get a same style as my e-ring and the stone has to be totally square. I really wish they had princess cut moissy, it would be perfect! I really liked the fact the moissanite is not cz and lasts forever, also very sparkly. Please remember that I was not satisfied does NOT mean I didnt like amora. I am just not sure if this is the best choice as a replacement of my e-ring. I wanna pass it off as a diamond, so I think, top priority should be "the look" not my preference in this case.
I've been reading a lot about asha, trying to learn more. My big concern is, as I already told you, I cant baby it. I'm not gonna take off the ring and cant keep cleaning it so constantly, maybe once a week? (BTW, thanks for correcting me, NatalieStar!) Someone said try to avoid ammonia, but where would you get ammonia??? Is it something you usually see/have around the house or in your life? Can I go to the pool ? Can I use sunblock spray? What else should I try to avoid? Is there a list?
------------- I know some people here love moissy, others dont. Same as asha. I dont wanna be rude to those who have different opinions. But here is the only place I can be honest about the feeling I'm having right now and talk about the best thing to do next. I apologize if anything I said bothered/hurt your feeling. Just putting in my two cents here. Your comments about cleaning and pools and everything reminds me of what jewelry store personnel and books on jewelry and articles have said about how to treat REAL diamonds. I've been told that the emerald cut real diamond always shows dirt faster. Whenever I mentioned that I want and loved an EC, they immediately went into that you have to clean it everyday as opposed to other cuts where they didn't show dirt so often, so that has nothing to do with the fact that they are Asha, Wink's, Diamonique, or any other cz out there. I guess that was their way of steering people away from getting an EC (real) diamond for an engagement ring. The only thing that deterred me from getting was was the price. In 1996, the ONE and only stone that we actually touched and handled was over $4000 and it had a chip right in the middle of the underside!!! But it was an antique stone. Another thing that jewelers(to me personally), books, and magazines have said is NOT to wear your engagment rings in the pool because the chlorine takes a toll on the gold, making it pit after awhile, and of course damages the stone, so again, I think that would apply to any stone-moissanite, Asha, Diamonique, Wink's, and others cz. From reading and being told by many, many jewelers over the years, I never wear any jewelry when I go swimming, even in the ocean or lakes. Just thought I would say this since I sense a bias about one type of stone over another over another. Hope I'm not coming across as condescending and being a bossyboots, but I'm just saying that no matter what you wear-real or fake, jewelry should be handled with the upmost care. I take care of my jewelry whether its costume or made of real gold. I mourn the loss or breaking (rendering it useless) of any of my jewelry forever. I keep all my broken and ruined jewelry because I can't bear to throw them out. In a way, I'm like Elizabeth Taylor about how she feels about her jewelry-just wish I had her inventory of it-lol!

Hi Ladies, it's been a while since my last post. I finally, totally, decided to return this amora moissy. I will go to the post office today.
And guess what, I tried Asha as many of you recommended! I have some loose stones here. Maybe I should start a new thread there in Asha forum . Thanks for all the comments!
