Everybody is talking about anniversary gifts from their husbands. What did you get? And what about the guys? What did they get? Maybe not jewelry, but what? Watches? Nothing? I'm curious because we are celebrating our anniversary soon. And if you have pictures of your anniversary gifts please share!

I gave my hubby an Omega watch for our 10th Anniversary, he gave me a 1.26ct F VVS2 emerald cut diamond. For our 20th, he bought me 2 E VS2 trapezoid diamonds to match my EC and we had a 3-stone made in platinum. I gave him a car. 25th Anniversary I'm hoping for a 3ct diamond, don't know how the heck I'm going to top the car!!!!

My hubby has started collecting watches. Since he mostly buys his own automatic watches, I got him a watch winder w/ bottom storage (for the battery run watches) at our local jewelry store for our 17th anny last year. Hubby is also a fly fisherman, so I will sometimes check the history on our laptop to see what rods/reels/flies/waders, etc., he has been looking to purchase, and I will make one of those the gift!

Holy extravagant gifts, girls! My husband and I are budgeters with gifts because our limited mad money is always prioritized for travel. We're also creative DIY people (we've renovated two full houses on our own and even build our own furniture), and that creates a different mindset about shopping. $30-50 is generally our gift budget and there's usually a handmade aspect to it. Big ticket items like jewelry for me and tools for him are always a mutual decision separate from gift days.
For the last couple of years I've been making my husband photo books for birthdays/anniversaries/holidays. I've been compiling photos (scanning 35mm negatives is a PAIN!) from our 15 years of travels around the U.S. and 16 other countries. We've been having a ball reminiscing about our trips one by one.
The single best gift I ever got my husband was for Valentine's Day years ago when we were going through a super hard time. I got a clearance Christmas ornament that says "Hope" on it, for $2.00 at Target. He carried it with him for a while and now it hangs in his office here at home.
The single best gift my husband ever got me was a little 2-inch box that he built himself. He precision-cut a combination lock using our anniversary date as the combination. He told me, "This holds the most precious thing in the world to me," and I opened it to find a mirror in the bottom. I keep it on my nightstand.
