Well it looks cushion shaped. Do you want squared? Ask him if the milgrain will make the corners slightly more squared once it's added. I like the cushion shape more, but just tell him you feel it is too rounded.

Plus, I zoomed in and I think the corners prongs on the Tiffany one with the milgrain around it kinda takes the curve out of it a bit and that is what you are seeing.

How wide is the Tiffany shank? 2.2 sounds standard. Plus, did he tell you what size pointers he's using?

He did not tell, he said the shank is 2.3mm. And that would show very little metal once stones are set. Which I then assumed would be about 2mm stones. I've read the shanks on the original are more like 1.4mm? I might be totally off...just explaining what I've read/researched. Just do NOT want wide shank smile

just checked the Legacy matching band, 2mm...so I'd assume 2.3 won't change much???? lol

Wow this is so exciting! I've been slowly discussing a ring with DK as well but we haven't started anything yet. He also told me the band would be 2.3mm so I think it's pretty standard. It was a ring that was made for one of the ladies on here and her final ring did not look too bulky or thick. The band width actually looked just like the Tiffany legacy you posted smile

i like the slightly curved corners..that is what I also see on the original..
The band width I believe is right also..ask what size the diamonds are.
BellaRoo width is 2mm with NO diamonds. So I think he is probably right.

Keep telling him you want it to look exactly like the pic,..IF that is what you want of course. Thats what I did..lol

1.4 would not be right. That would snap right in half. My cupcake is 2mm and it is thinner than the Legacy, so I would guess 2.3 is about right. The size of the melee doesn't the matter. He will max out the diamonds to fit the shank. wink

The corners look a little softer to me, but I like it with the elongated shape.
