Hi again...
Just got the first CAD of my dream ring. I am open to any suggestions and comments because I'm having a hard time visualizing the ring from this picture. I know what the end result will hopefully be but I'm bad with picking out differences. Anyway, here are some of the pictures and the inspiration ring.

The Ring is going to be:14k white gold with full cut natural round brilliant diamonds color H, quality VS. Center stone 7mm Asha ACC.

Oops forgot to mention I asked for fishtail prongs...what do you think?

Fishtail is usually something not used in halos..

Can you get a bigger picture of your inspiration ring??

No I meant fishtail, I wasn't sure how it would look. I know you can't tell from the inspirational picture but it's not a halo exactly. I'm going to go search for better pictures now....but here is a video http://youtu.be/94QD7zq6Tis

It looks like a halo to me, the stone is just set high up.

Fishtail prongs are vintagr to me, so mixing them with that halo is not something I would personally do, but if you love it, go for. AS long as DK has that video saved, I wouldn't worry about the CADs. He should be making the ring to match the video.

You guys are right, it's a halo...I'm an idiot. lol

DK did ask me if I wanted the stone set up so high, he said it looked like it was almost too big for the setting (in the video). I told him about 50% lower....what do you think?

I think I should change the fishtail part and save that for another ring....agreed? And if so, what kind of prongs?

I'm also noticing now that in the video that the band is split further down on the band when she bends her hand down. See what I mean?

I think it will be beautiful! But I agree, no fishtail. I vote single small claw prongs.

I thinnk claw prongs as well. I like my stones set right into a halo, so no part of my stone is exposed. That that is me. Some people like their stones set higher up. Have you looked at differrent halos with stones set flush, or stones set higher up??
