It is good to take a look at both, especially the side view, so you can see what is the most pleasing to your eye. I like my stone set up high in solitaires, but like a flatter look with halo. Like Kanga's halo, for example

Amazingly gorgeous. Now, I do NOT meant to be a party pooper here but have you actually every tried that type of setting on?

I ask because (for some people) the thicker back with the split/double shank can be quite uncomfortable

Jcent I agree on Kanga's ring because the center stone stands alone...but this has a bridge (if you will) up to the center stone so I am good with it sitting high.

Brazilian, yes I actual have a setting similar in sterling silver that I love. I have a ton of chunky rings so I think I will be good there. And thanks I am starting to get excited. When I got the CAD I felt nothing and that scared me.
