Just now catching up here - been so busy recently.
Yes, it's true that we're bowing out of the setting business. It's been fun and rewarding, and the feedback on our designs has been so wonderful, but the truth is that we just need to focus our time and attention on other things.
JbEG is still essentially just the 2 of us, with some part time help from a wonderful assistant, but part of why we love our business is that it's small and manageable and close-knit. The setting component was taking up a lot of our time and we felt we were getting too far from what we loved - buying/selling antique pieces.
We've decided to do a couple of things really well, rather than try to have our hands in too many things and risk mediocrity in any facet of our business. There are so many amazing jewelers doing great setting work that we feel ok stepping away from that and focusing on what we do best - antique diamond search & rescue!
Sorry to anyone who has been waiting for a JbEG setting and won't be able to place an order before May 31st.
I completely understand why but it's so very sad.
...............thank you SOOOO much!!!!!!!! I kept hoping to win the lottery so I could buy it, but it never happened! Thanks sweetie!
