I was looking for moissanite pendants and came across this on eBay. I read the seller's description and thought WTH? I must say after I got over my confusion, I was left slightly amused.

And what does this even mean: "Please note: Feel free to order larger stones since diamonds shrink over time. The longer you wear them the smaller they look."

I think I'll pass on this golden opportunity of a lifetime, lol!

Shrinkage...it is a real problem many of us have had to deal with, lol. Now I like 9mm and 9.5mm stones... And I still think they look small.

I thought this part was funny!!

These stones are better than Moissanite. Moissanite is a generic material made for commercial purposes. Their refractive index is much higher than a diamond, they cast a yellow tone, looks fake and can be very expensive. Moissanite will not fool a jeweler by eye or loupe.

Well they have not seen our moissies around here!! lol

WTF? hahahah! That was a comical read laugh

I think it's CZ based on the video, but idk what the reference to moissanite had anything to do with? They are claiming that they use the same formula as Russian CZ does for their "fakes" (which is an interesting word to be coming from the vendor themselves in that video! lol).

Just sad...

I know, it's just an incoherent mess or something, lol. I thought there had been a rip in the space-time continuum and I had been mysteriously transported to the 80's or something. I had to double-check the date of the post to be sure! :P

A $10.99 CZ is certainly not superior to a moissy! At least not MY moissanite! They are a touch delusional.

Gave me a giggle though smile
