[quote=Vanillabeanz]I put "backyard" in quotes because I have to drive about 45 minutes to an hour to be in the Rockies. But they're close enough to see very well from our home. Sort of my backyard. LOL [/quo I'd love to see that view from my window every day. Texas isn't known for its mountains Soooooo excited about The weekly update from Less, especially about the Asscher cut!

And even beaches (but colder water Not true Less. Let me introduce you to Grand Beach, a fresh-water beach located just outside Winnipeg, Manitoba and well known as one of the best beaches in North America. The water is warm, the beach is huge, the sand is fine and there are sand dunes and tons of cottages around it. It's one of many wonderful beaches in Canada. That was my old "backyard". It was one of Playboys top beaches in the world or something long ago. It is much nicer (for me) when it is not as busy as those pictures! Also only warm in summer. It gets frozen over winter and into spring! Good for ice fishing & snowmobiling. Now, I share your "backyard"! Sort of, I am closer to Waterton than Jasper & Banff, etc!
