Hi All,
So I've been posting all over the Amora forum and realized that I haven't introduced myself on this one. Without much ado, my name is Tina. I live in Hawaii (literally 10 minutes away from the beach). Which is pretty ironic because I'm not a "beach" person at all (long story on this one).
Currently, I'm a student waiting for my bachelor's this upcoming May 2012 and entering the graduate's program this Fall. It took a while to finish my studies because I took three years of hiatus. Although I am older than my contemporaries, I don't regret traveling and experiencing new things.
Besides all that, I just want to say that I am hunting down THE ring that I would wear for the rest of my life. Throughout my travels I have met people from all over the world, and one of my best friend, who is on the Peace Corp, has told me all about blood diamonds--in her intimate knowledge and encounter of its devastating effects on individuals, families, communities, and cultures. I am not saying that I am immune to the advertising, but I want to try. I want to try other gemstones. And, through research, I got here.
I hope to spend more time reading all the lovely posts and seeing some gorgeous blinds.
