I also think the bezel looks nice because as DM3 said, you see that nice shiny metal next to the stone.

Hi all, so I have decided to go with DK. I have not officially paid for it but he is working on the computer design now WITH prongs, but in the mean time I will put some serious thinking into it.
For some reason I keep thinking the bezel goes with that setting best, but then again that Liz C one with prongs is breath taking. Well for now I can not wait to receive his design, silly because I know how will look, but will feel more real

Well, DK did a milgrained bezel for someone's ring and it was stellar!!! Since your stone is a diamond I say go for it! The only reason I'm personally leaning toward prongs is in case I need to do a stone switch on down the road. I love bezels.
