lol! Generally with needle piercings they recommend captive bead rings. I'm guessing she'll go titanium for the colors. I'm assuming purple. lol. down the road she'll be getting some little cz's for sure! But not until she's healed up.

I'm sure your little one would be thrilled with an upgrade! That's adorable!

I'll post photos when she's gone.

That is so cute! I love the spelling of "pierced", lol. As a side note, I'm thrilled you're going to a studio as opposed to a mall kiosk with the dreadful "piercing" gun... *shudder*

yeah...that would not be happening for so many reasons. Safety is the biggest, but she has sensory issues and the studio will give us an appointment so she'll be the only one there. plus, with her health stuff this needs to be as clean and safe as possible. Implant/surgical grade stainless steel or titanium. no guns, no posts with backs, all things autoclaved. no chances. wink

I would never do my DDs ears with a gun. My mom got mine doen when I was 2 and I still remember and it was traumatizing. Because of that though we have to wait until she is 6ish. There doesn't seem to be a required age, but they want to make sure she is making an informed decision for herself, which is totally fine with me. smile

I'm with you. I didn't have a traumatic experience but knowing the difference I would always go needle-hollow needle specifically.

This is going to be an adventure!

I'm showing my age, but my ears were pierced by my family doctor in his office. hollow needle. LOL we all had ours done at the same time, Mom, me and my younger sister.

Wish I could say that for my 3 girls, but it was not offered and they did have the gun.

we went for the meet and greet and it went GREAT! They had some cute new styles, studs that have a flat back and the front snaps on. They are totally hygenic, surgical grade stainless but SUPER PRETTY! My kiddo (of course) picked bezel set pink opals. This is going to be a trip. We go back next week for the actual event. Here's the girlie it the studio feeling so very big!
