Well that makes it a bit less stressful actually.

+1 on the 9mm OEC request!!

We'll definitely look into adding the 9mm - 9mm is a great size imo.

Best regards
Less

I am just poking in to say, the website says OEC will stop at about 8mm and I have a setting being made for 9mm. So, which way is this going to go? love

Why stop at 9mm? If you make a 10mm Less, I'll buy one grin

Has Less given an update on the actual production/availability of the Mira? My parents live in New Zealand, and they are coming to visit late Summer .... I think I understand I can order and have shipped to them and they can deliver to me!? I can't believe my luck if that's the case!! Less? Any recent guesstimates please??

Officially there is no Mira....sorry if this is confusing. Mira was the name for the atomic level enhancement process now known as Amora Moissanite.

I think you are referring to Amora Gem, which is an entirely new creation, not an enhancement and not Moissanite from C&C. IF production of Amora Gem is going by late summer then your plan to have your parents bring one may work. If timing is not on your side then you can still have one shipped to your parents and they can ship it to you.

I'm so sad! I just saw the listings for the FUTURE Amora Krupp sizes... and 8x6 (what we are getting in an Asha) is not listed :-( I'm guessing the next closest sizes are slighty too big and slightly too small (for the Asha Nova setting). Oh well- maybe things will change down the road. I think I am less than a month away from FINALLY getting engaged and I am so excited I could pee myself. Still a bummer though. Too late to change my ring to a 9x7, and I think it'd be too big to ever be believable for us anyway (not that 8x6 isn't REALLY Really pushing it)

I wonder why no 8x6?

"4 - What are the dimensions of the Amora Gem Krupps/Emerald cut?

Width x Length Depth (mm)
6.00 X 7.72 4.20
6.5 X 8.36 4.55
7.00 X 9.00 4.90
7.50 X 9.65 5.25
8.00 X 10.29 5.60
8.50 X 10.93 5.95
9.00 X 11.57 6.30
9.50 X 12.22 6.65
10.00 X 12.86 7.00

It's on the BTD site, Amora Gem tab, under Amora Krupps/EC. Scroll down to the bottom of the page.

I like the look of these measurments better than the standards. smile I like my stones a little wider. I think I would take an 8.5x10.9 wink

I can't be sure, but I would guess they are being cut to optimize the properties of the stons and to maximize brilliance. I can't be certain, but I think the 7.7x6 would fit a 8x6 setting... Normally you have .5mm
