Hi all here I am again...same scenario, want a setting, THE DREAM one. IO have saved some money - my budget is about $1000, I could save more but do not see myself justifying spending more.

As many of you know I LOVE my ring but am not IN love with it anymore.

I want a STRONGER, HEAVIER setting, halo, prong set... Big preferably. My fingers are super long...

I have never had a jeweler from here make me one so I am asking your expert help.


My diamond is an elongated cushion, so I have given up'stores' setting...nothing PRETTY would fit, and I felt it was all WAY overpriced. So, here are some examples of what I love.

I got a quote with CZ's, and love the price...but I am super nervous because it is non-refundable. I am pretty sure I'd be OK with the color but my diamond has a tad of warmth and if the cz/s are suuuuuuuuuper sparkly it will look odd.
