I am soooo naive!!!
When I asked DK IF he could pretty please with sugar on top speed up my ring
so I could wear at a wedding coming soon he mentioned that he could not promise (totally understandable!! I am a true PITA! LOL)
and that there was a whole team involved - casters, polishers, engravers, etc....
and here I was, ALL inocent, thinking the men himself was making my ring LOL

You want it done right, so I wouldn`t rush it. Custom pieces can often take 6 weeks after CADs, so DKs turn around ia already super fast imo.

LOL, I know what you mean. We have a ring just beginning for DD and she would LOVE to have it on the same day that all of her classmates get their class rings but I don't know if it will happen. I told her what DK told me, 25 days. We don't know when everyone else is getting their rings but it will be late this month or early May. *crossing fingers*

jcent-that's what I told DD...better to let them take the time they need. I'd rather that she wait a few extra days than ask for them to rush.

You'll be so happy when it's done... and even if it does take a little longer then what you hoped all that will be just a memory when it's on your finger...

.... I know how you feel... I'm so glad Dreamy is done though... I waited 12 to 14 weeks but once I opened that box all was forgotten....

If the man himself was making your ring, it could take even longer! My rings are being made by a guy who does his own design, own alloys, own casting/handforging, setting, polishing, orders and shipping! Eek!

It will be worth the wait, I tend to think I would rather wait longer and know they had the time to put into them, then rush them!
