I am soooo naive!!!
When I asked DK IF he could pretty please with sugar on top speed up my ring
so I could wear at a wedding coming soon he mentioned that he could not promise (totally understandable!! I am a true PITA! LOL)
and that there was a whole team involved - casters, polishers, engravers, etc....
and here I was, ALL inocent, thinking the men himself was making my ring LOL
crazy blush

You want it done right, so I wouldn`t rush it. wink Custom pieces can often take 6 weeks after CADs, so DKs turn around ia already super fast imo.

LOL, I know what you mean. We have a ring just beginning for DD and she would LOVE to have it on the same day that all of her classmates get their class rings but I don't know if it will happen. I told her what DK told me, 25 days. We don't know when everyone else is getting their rings but it will be late this month or early May. *crossing fingers* smile

jcent-that's what I told DD...better to let them take the time they need. I'd rather that she wait a few extra days than ask for them to rush.

You'll be so happy when it's done... and even if it does take a little longer then what you hoped all that will be just a memory when it's on your finger...

.... I know how you feel... I'm so glad Dreamy is done though... I waited 12 to 14 weeks but once I opened that box all was forgotten.... wink
.. I don't stress on any other jewelry item now... I just keep my fingers crossed and hope they are gorgeous and Sparklie.. grin

If the man himself was making your ring, it could take even longer! My rings are being made by a guy who does his own design, own alloys, own casting/handforging, setting, polishing, orders and shipping! Eek!

It will be worth the wait, I tend to think I would rather wait longer and know they had the time to put into them, then rush them!
